You will learn how to apply the physical process of life coaching by taking control of your own life in a positive way.
Who is this course suitable for and what knowledge/skills do I need?
The aim of the workshop is to give you a basic introduction to being your own life coach for women. You will learn how to apply the physical process of life coaching by taking control of your own life in a positive way.
What is the course about and what topics will be covered?
You will learn specific tools which will help you to set goals, in motivational skills, self confidence, and developing a positive mental attitude.
How will you benefit and what will you achieve?
By the end of the workshop, you will be able to: Show techniques which will assist you in goal setting Build your own personal power and exude self-confidence. Show motivational skills Demonstrate a positive mental attitude to the goals you have set
Which teaching and learning methods will be used?
All the above topics are covered using a combination of demonstration and instruction.
How will your progress be assessed?
By observation, demonstration and practise
Are there any additional costs and what materials do I need?
Please bring a pen and writing pad to the workshop
What extra work do you have to do at home?
Not applicable Learners who have access to the Internet will also be able to use the VLE system and all of its resources. The VLE is a modern and user friendly virtual learning environment shared with all Bournemouth Adult Learners. (Visit http://www.glo-bal.co.uk) To access the VLE it is desirable to have a Broadband Internet connection. A dial-up system is adequate but much slower. (If you have any doubts about the suitability of your home computer to access the VLE then please contact Learner Services and arrange to talk to your tutor). Complementary courses Our “Writing Assignments and Essays” course would benefit anyone requiring additional support with homework and coursework preparation. There are other literacy and numeracy courses throughout the year which will further enhance your study success. “Find That Job!” may be just what you need to progress your career or help you get back into work. Call our Learner Services Team who can talk to you about dates and times of these and other courses.
What can I do next/as well?
The Certificate in Life Coaching which would enable you to set up a practice or obtain employment as a qualified life coach
