Who is this course suitable for and what knowledge/skills do I need?

Knowledge of reflexology to ITEC, NVQ, BABTAC, etc standards would be advantageous. This workshop is designed for reflexologists and lecturers in reflexology.

What is the course about and what topics will be covered?

The aim of the workshop is to give an advanced introduction to hand reflexology and its many health benefits combining demonstration and practice. You will learn how to give an advanced reflexology treatment and gain an in-depth understanding of how to use, body weight to help with the following reflexology techniques: hooking in and backup, caterpillar walking, finger techniques and reflex rotation technique. Reflexology techniques will be taught on precision and accuracy of specific organs within the hand. An excellent workshop for wanting to help your clients recover from illness quickly.

How will you benefit and what will you achieve?

By the end of the workshop, you will be able to show: * How to give an advanced hand reflexology treatment * Your knowledge of reading the hand to an advanced level You will also gain a certificate stating that you have attended an “Advanced hand reflexology workshop with CPPD points”. There is no extra fee for this certificate!

All the above will be covered on this workshop. During the workshop the tutor will provide information and advice about what the course will cover and how it will be taught.

Progress will be assessed by observation and practical demonstration

Are there any additional costs and what materials do I need?

Please bring a pen, writing pad, two large towels, hand moisturizer, a large comfortable blanket and wet wipes with you to the workshop. Wearing your uniforms would also be advantageous.
